Taylor Swift always has a new project in the works. Not only is she in the process of re-recording the majority of her past albums, but she's also in the midst of a massive world tour, has been releasing brand-new music, and she is slated to direct a feature film.
To all my fellow Swifties, here is a nifty guide to help you keep track of all Swift's eras (past, present, and re-recorded), as well as everything the pop star has coming up.
The Eras Tour - 2024
Taylor Swift has been on the Eras Tour since March of 2023, and she has no plans of slowing down. After completing the first leg of her United States tour – which saw her announce both the re-recording of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) and the re-release of 1989 (Taylor’s Version) – the singer went on her South American tour. In 2024, that international leg will continue as she visits Asia, Australia, Europe and North America (again).
Since Swift's Reputation tour, she released Lover, folklore, evermore, Fearless (Taylor's Version), Red (Taylor's Version) and Midnights. Plus, in 2023 she dropped Speak Now (Taylor's Version) and 1989 (Taylor's Version). In April of 2024, she’ll release her totally new album The Tortured Poets Department, so there's a lot of ground to cover.
On opening night, her set was three hours long, it featured 44 songs, per Variety, and it covered every album she's ever released (however, her first album is only occasionally featured). She also picks two new surprise songs for every show, and she occasionally switches up the setlist (like she did after she and Joe Alwyn broke up) making it so her tour truly covers the majority of her discography.
So fellow Swifties who managed to survive the Ticketmaster fiasco (which ended up causing a Senate hearing for the ticketing company, that even Taylor Swift herself was mad about) get your minds, hearts, and wallets ready because it's time to rock out to the pop star's biggest hits from across her career.
Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) -- Streaming March 15
Within the same week, Taylor Swift announced The Tortured Poets Department and restarted her tour, she also announced the streaming release of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version). The pop star took to Instagram to share the exciting news, and she noted that on March 15 you'll be able to watch it with a Disney+ subscription.
After the theatrical and VOD releases of the Eras Tour concert film, this release on Disney+ will make the project even more accessible. It will also be special because she's adding five more songs. This version of the project will include "cardigan," which is featured in the folklore section of the project, as well as four more surprise songs.
So, get stoked Swifties, because pretty soon we'll be able to watch this concert film over and over again!
The Tortured Poets Department - April 19th
When Taylor Swift won her 13th Grammy – which was for Best Pop Vocal Album for Midnights – she used her speech to announce her eleventh studio album The Tortured Poets Department. Yes, you read that correctly, while on the Grammys stage, she announced that her “brand new” album – which she’s been keeping “secret” for two years – will be out on April 19.
Swift’s Grammys outfit even matched the vibe of the sultry cover she posted on Instagram, and soon we’ll be able to hear what the TTPD era sounds like (according to Travis Kelce this album is “unbelievable”).
Adding to the excitement, the pop star announced the tracklist for The Tortured Poets Department on Instagram. With 17 tracks, as well as songs featuring Post Malone and Florence & The Machine, the tracklist is as follows:

Overall, this sounds like a break-up album, and many fans speculate that the songs could be about her ex, Joe Alwyn. However, only time will tell, and on April 19 we’ll find out what The Tortured Poets Department is all about.
Reputation (Taylor’s Version) - Original Album In 2017 - TBD
We’ve already gotten Red, Fearless, Speak Now and 1989 in Taylor’s Versions in Swift's quest to reclaim her music after Scooter Braun bought her catalog. She’s also created Lover, folklore, evermore, Midnights and The Tortured Poets Department, which are not part of the re-releases. Reputation would be the most recent album -- among those slated to be re-recorded -- to get released again.
The 2017 album was a sharp turn from Swift’s earlier body of work. It’s pop-oriented with more influence from Game of Thrones than the country music genre. The overarching themes of the album address Swift’s relationship with fame and the overwhelming media attention she’s received.
It features hits like “Look What You Made Me Do” and “Delicate” as well as many other bangers like “Getaway Car” and “Don’t Blame Me.” So far, we’ve gotten a few tastes of this album, because shows like The Summer I Turned Pretty used Rep (TV) tracks during episodes. However, other than that and Swift’s Rep-coded outfits, there’s no sign of when the album will come out.
While there’s no confirmed information about when Reputation (Taylor’s Version) will be re-released, there are tons of theories, and Swifties believe it will be the next album dropped. However, it’s also likely that there will be no explanation, just Reputation (Taylor’s Version), so we need to be ready for anything.
Taylor Swift (Taylor’s Version) - Original Album In 2006 - TBD
This brings us to the album that started it all in 2006, Swift’s self-titled album. This is a full-blown country album and the record that made the singer a household name.
Taylor Swift features classics like “Our Song,” “Tim McGraw” and “Teardrops on My Guitar.” Personally, I can’t wait to hear this album re-recorded because Swift was only 16 when it came out. Even on Fearless and Red (Taylor’s Versions), you can hear how her voice has grown, and I can’t wait to see that growth when she re-releases her debut album.
Sadly, despite what seemed like a tease at the Golden Globes with her green dress, there have really been no hints about Taylor Swift. This has led Swifties to believe that it will be her final re-release after Reputation (Taylor’s Version).
Taylor Swift's Feature Film - TBD
It was announced that Taylor Swift would be directing her first feature film in December of 2022. This came after she got lots of praise and acclaim for her short film All Too Well. Along with that, she's also directed the majority of her music videos in recent years, so clearly, she loves to be behind the camera too.

There are no known details about Swift's movie, other than it will be distributed by Searchlight Pictures. However, Swifties have so many theories about it, with lots of them pointing to her song "Last Great American Dynasty" as the perfect source material for a movie.
However, while we don't know much, considering the actor's long list of A-List friends, like Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sadie Sink, Selena Gomez, and so many more, it's safe to say that she will have a stellar cast for the film.
